Click here to complete post-ride survey Greetings from Madison, GA! BRAG’s Spring Tune-Up Ride began with good weather and good friends reuniting for three days of cycling in the country. Campers began arriving Thursday afternoon to stake out their spots for tents, RV’s, some privacy, and a little shade. Rain made its appearance Saturday morning but Sunday brought glorious weather for the ride to Rock Eagle. Morgan County has some of the prettiest country roads around and the 816 cyclists on the road proved it! Gently, rolling hills were enjoyed by tandems, singles, and recumbents on the shorter routes while the Century riders had their share and more…especially after mile 80! But, the Century Bandannas were well worth the effort! Rest stops were well-spaced with plenty of fruit, snacks, and powerade. Bananas? You had your choice of yellow or green but the pbj’s, granola bars and m & m’s kept everyone pedaling. Saturday’s Oreo Cow Ride has quickly become everyone’s favorite stop where one can snack on Oreos and beer…gotta love those Belted Galloways! BRAG’s first Karaoke Night made its debut with “George Michael and Elton John” making an appearance! There were good singers and some singers with good intentions but overall, it was entertaining and fun. Thank you Madison for allowing all the cyclists to “invade” and visit your beautiful town and county. BRAG riders thoroughly enjoyed your hospitality, enthusiasm and generosity and we look forward to next year’s Spring Tune-Up.

Greetings from Madison, GA!

BRAG’s Spring Tune-Up Ride began with good weather and good friends reuniting for three days of cycling in the country.
